Small beach break that works from low to mid tide. It is sheltered from N winds. Either side of the beach is covered in rocks which present a hazard at mid to high tide. Conditions permitting, it can be a good wave. Suitable for beginners but watch for submerged rocks.
If traveling on A39 take minor road at Wainhouse Corner, or if on B3263 follow signs to the beach. Driving from Widemouth Bay on an minor coastal road is an excellent experience and is well recommended. You can park in the village.
High season: Lifeguards.
All year: Car park, toilets, two tennis courts, coffee shops and inn.
