Crooklets is situated just north of Summerleaze and is an average beach break. It is best surfed from low to mid tide but can be surfed throughout. It has both left and right peaks with shifting sand banks. OK for beginners but watch out rips at bigger swells at the northern end and submerged rocks at high tide.
From A39 take A3072 to Bude from where you will have no problem finding a beach car park as it is well signposted. Walk from there past the rock pool.
Same as for Summerleaze, but here it goes again.
High season: Lifeguards and beach bar.
All year: Showers, car park at the beach, toilets with baby changing facilities. Town itself has numerous surf shops with surf hire, surf schools, pubs, restaurants...
