Gallery added to the Surf Newquay site.
After some lengthy sessions at the computer and many long nights, major new addition to this site is now complete. Gallery pages are now awaiting your photos, comments and suggestions.
What is so nice is that new gallery is seamlessly integrated with the forum software. This means that every registered forum user has access to the Gallery, so no re-registration needed. Also, all the posts and submissions in the Gallery are counted in the Forum as well.
Currently, every registered member has 1.5 Mb of space allocated, with maximum individual item upload size of 150k.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is the Public Pre-Release phase of gallery testing, so all the remaining bugs can be detected and corrected. If you notice any, please let me know.

Currently unable to update the site, due to some major local network changes. Remainder of the required hardware is to be delivered later on today, so weekend is the target for return to normal.
Emails are affected as well, so if you did send one, it will take few more days before they can be read. In the meantime, stay cool and enjoy heathwave, as winter is approaching fast.
21-06-2003 - Part 2
All beach-guide pages have now been upgraded with the new look and forum integration. This means that whole site is now complete, apart from the areas that are being worked on at the moment, and are not visible.

2. Site's front page needs further tweakage.
3. A selection of ready-to-use avatars.

Fixed an issue with forum pages. To my knowledge, they all display properly. Will keep an eye tho...
18-06-2003:
Added 'Welcome' box to the front page. Contains some handy tools and information, and displays user's avatar - if selected.
17-06-2003:
Known site bugs:
* Fixed * 20-06-2003 1. Some forum pages do not display properly, but this does not affect users in any way.
* Fixed * 2. 'Last Ten Posts' table on the site's home page renders too wide in IE6 so it distorts all the page margins, while Opera 7 displays whole page properly.
