Hi,
The pool you are talking about is the Waveloch Pro system invented by Tom Lochenfield.
See
www.waveloch.com and
www.wavehouse.com for details.
To the best of my knowledge, excluding the mobile version which I presume is probably the one you seen on the Siemens Mobile Wave Tour in Brazil, there is currently only one in the world: The "D-Rex" at Durban, South Africa, although a 2nd is being constructed at the moment at the new Wavehouse in San Diego, California (US).
There are however numerous flow riders situated around the world: The ones in the US are obviously your nearest. (For those in the UK its Holland). These are the the Waveloch Pros little brother, have a gentle slope rather than a pre-formed wave, and are are used more for body boarding than upright surfing although they are used upright for training (it is necessary to prove proficiency on the flow rider before being allowed on the Pro system).
For more info see the sites.
If you're trying to get one for Brazil, go for it, but bear one thing in mind: If you want the Pro version, then you'll have to buy and build a Wavehouse facility as Waveloch to the best of my knowledge no longer sell the Pro version seperately. This will include multiple flow riders, a television studio and media centre and a skate park. You'll also need to raise quite a few million dollars!
Alsone.
PS I have the brochures but its probably quicker for you to download these yourself from the sites - they are all on there (.pdf format).
