Midlands people

Hi Guys,

Some of you may remember me and think "where the hell have you been" but then others may not have a clue. Anyway, for those that remember me I held up my plans of moving to Newquay to go and work for O'Neill (UK). I'm currently running promotions for their Birmingham store and I'm on here to see how many people from the midlands would be up for a massive gathering during the last week of August. The venue would be The walkabout bar in Birmingham and Im hoping that if enough people are up for it then we could get drinks promo's, aswell as O'Neill giveaways.

Perhaps some of you guys down in the South-west can get up here and catch a sense of how much passion there is in the midlands for Surfing and how frustrating it is living in the middle of country.

Your thoughts are much appreciated

Ade

I have just got back home from a great night out on Broad Street in Birmingham. And i went passsed the Walkabout Bar and it was packed.

I was on my way to the Rocco bar,as these days i dress ultra cool in linen white suits. And i am kicking myself at the moment,as i had a great chance of flirting with a drop dead gorgeous Asian women. But as i am too shy,i didn't.And now i am kicking myself for not doing it,especially when she was giving me all the signals to do so.( I am such a arse sometime with my shyness )

try living on a shitty island where, where ever you go on it you are no more than 5 miles from the sea. and the the sea is the flat ALL THE TIME, onyl time there is a wave is when its cold winter and a massive ship goes past into the docks. even then the wave is about half a foot and not even worth a look at getting in the water
