nope, we will be crusing down at 50mph (max). a nice 12 hour drive.
plenty of time to relax and take in the world at a slower pace lol.
He did well last year, no problems at all so fingers crossed it will be just as good this year. the key is to take it easy and have regular stops. oh and carry lots of parts and tools as well.
Good on ya for having some lessions, i have just been waxing my board in preparaion. cant wait to hit the water again. It my bday on starturday as well, cant think of anything better to be doing in the world.

tut tut

Well make sure he's got lots of oil in him and a good fanbelt... and when the fanbelt snapps (it will ) stop and change it

One question.... do they make wetsuits in my size?

What sort of board do you have btw?

Tom

yep, i genrally have to top the oil up at least once or twice on that longer trip.
Of cause they make wetsuites your size, you prbably arnt that differnt from me. Just go into a shop and ask, they are genrally very helpful and know what they are talking about. I paid £65 for a sola wetsuit last year and i cant fualt it, you dont need to spend loads. If you can afford it get a rash vest as well, it will keep you warmer and stop the neck rubbing. also they look cool with bord shorts and chicks dig them lol
I take it you like your new home then, whats happend to your bugs?

Bugs... hmmm they are still in Cambridge awaiting transporting to here by the 16th of Aug... i need someone with a tow car/trailer but cant find anyone... willing to pay£££.

I hate the idea of a tight wetsuit EWWWWWWWWW!! out of curiosity... how much do you weigh (approx)... and how tall are you?

Just trying to give my self an idea.

Thanks,

Tom

Strangly enough wetsuits are quite comfatble, bit of a pig to get off when wet but fine other than that. Im about 13 stone i think and about a half a foot taller than you at a guess.

What state are the bugs in, if the engine is out i may be able to do it for you on the 16th. you would need to hire the trailer from new road, st ives.
Only thing is with petrol and a bit for me for both ways and 2 trips it would be something like £350. if the cars look like they have broken down then you could use the rac for one but that wont work for both of them.
