Hey all! Im a relatively new surfer but got past the "whitewater" stage and now looking to find the best swell in the area to improve my surfing!
Ive been living in newquay for a while and am after some help and advice from any locals about when the best time to surf beaches around newquay are??

I usually surf on either perranporth, fistral or watergate but im sure some must be better than others at different tide times, any local chaps out there in the know??

And are there any pubs in town where local people go?? id like to meet the guys and gals which live here instead of all the flaming stag parties which seem to occupy Newquay!!
