Hi

Well i would say go and buy some body boards cus you can get ones that are quite good for £10 and will last for years. Wetsuits you can hire from something like £5/10 a day at a guess but again if your thinking of doing it every day you may as well buy some cheap ones for £30 and you can use them again. Surf boards i would hire because your talking min £200.
Have a good time!

If you are getting a bodyboard,i would say get one with a slick bottom. As for a surfboard, the height and width, has to do with your height, weight and skill at surfing.A decent surf shop will always help you out.

I went out there first time last year in August for Rip Curl and must say it was a life changing experince.
I went again in October and now heading again april 30th for weekend.. this weekend.

Anyway to the question, when I first went I rented a suit and was going to buy just some tacky bodie bored.

Anyway after giving it a whirl and getting in the action of the autopshere from it all I went and bought my own wet suit which totally does the job and only cost 60 pounds.
I then went and bought a bored and bag for about 70 quid and I was getting waves like a pro, the elliteness was seeping from my arse.
At times i get such speed on waves I be hitting people up there head and stuff I felt so guility, Sorry. couldent control it.

I then got into surfing and basicly love it so much my next item be buying my own surf bored instead of renting...

The moral of my storie.. urmmmmm buy a wetset and rent a surf boared.
lol
