Also £3.00 for car park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kin hell I nearly fainted, so basically we now have to pay to surf?

welcome d00d.
I went on sunday, in my summer suit no gloves or boots, just my thermal rashie, BUT i have an awesome Xcell summer suit.
I find jan/feb/march the worst time, freezing cold, ice on the beach etc.
I can keep me warm, just that ice cream headache from duck diving that makes me feel ill
Best of luck with winter surfing

Winter surfing in the UK is ....in my book......so much better than summer surfing. From having the break to yourself to the car heater and hot coffee on the way home...DIFFERENT CLASS

I can hack getting changed on the beach in MINUS conditions....
I can hack walking down the beack and slipping on ICE as im walking down....
I can handle looking like a muppet with only my head not covered in black neoprene..
But Ice Cream Headaches....they are the worst. You duck dive a wave, come up and about 5 secs later it hits you lol, you never want to put your head under the water again.
Its not so bad once your out back- its just getting out there thats the problem.
