Watergate of Fistral

Ok loads of people surf, and I love watergate bay, and I personally think the waves are better than Fistral, BUT the other half things Fistral is better. What does everyone think?

Fistral for me as the waves are so varied depending on the conditions.

Anything from shallow peeling to steep waves, to barrels on North side sometimes to 30ft'ers (Cribbar).

Always a different way to drown yourself!!

both in equal measures! watergate is a great beach but is now to busy for my liking. probably even worse now 15 is there. in the water though it is great for learning cus there very little current / rips compared to other beaches so you dont get pulled down the beach much. plus its normally easier to park than fistral. on the other hand fistral is cool and the new ish facilitys are grerat. we always try to do a few differnt beaches each holiday anyway and go for a drive up / down the coast to find those little coves that are really cool.

I'll go with Fistral on low tide.... I've only been there in Summer for the WQS event, but low tide seems like the best.
