Question Holiday time - but where???

We're planning a surf holiday. We have been to Bali and would like to try somewhere closer to home but abroad. We are looking for a place with consistent waves, suitable for beginner/intermediates, i.e. we have our own boards (one Mini Mal andone short) and are learning to take greens. I have heard south of Spain, Morocco, possibly Biarritz could be good. We want to go August or September. Any suggestions?

Later!

Belle

Went to South Portugal a while ago,

gets loads of swell (Atlantic coast),

if it get's big, you can hide round the corner on the south coast

if it dropps off, you can move round to the west coast,

cheap to stay,

nice seafood

I went to Fuerteventura in April, Parts of the island see some great surf action, other parts more popular with the windsurfers. Plenty of boards on the plane. Plenty of wind all year round, but u could research into the best times of year!
