Hey kids,
This is just a review i thought i should post on smugglers haven i went 3rd-10th of july. iTs amazing yeah its a caravan ours was wobbly and stuff was broken we complained and maintenence came staright away any problems get sorted out immediatly.

We got there it was full of townies not many surfer types hanging around but who cares your probably there was a group of mates anyway, our neighbours were great and we were invited to loads of parties. The shop on site is well expensive but they know you will pay ridiculous prices for the booze but if your in a car there is a spar and safeway really close so my advice is stock up. Buy ice you useit.

Night life is amazing going from york that only has 3 clubs newquay was wicked, every tuesday westwood is on at the koola club near walkabout and chy bar its well worth it and ladies get in free before 11:30pm and the qs arent bad. There is a bus every half an hour to and the last bus back from town is like 4am and you can get timetables from the reception. Also if you need a doctor they are easily reached unfortunately we had to use one but hey when you put that many people in a caravan and give them alcohol shit happens.

we got annoyed about having to pay the behaviour deposit but you have to make serious noise and practically trash your caravan before it gets taken away so dont worry there was plenty of raves going till like 3am. The camping bit is more hippyish and it has a great atmosphere, and the shower blocks are really nice and clean so dont be put off by the communal shower bit. if your looking to pull its definately the place we just got drunk and knocked on loads of peoples caravans.

Its really worth going despite their being loads of rich young kids getting picked up and dropped off by there parents in there nice shiny BMWs and mercs and townies that take nung chucks those cary stick things its great and i will probably go back next year. JObs a god un, good to go, get your bum out!

I want to big up Smugglers too!!!

There's loads on here saying smugglers is poo but i wanna say it's great!! we were camping so used the shower block which was clean and tidy. (had cleaners in there everyday). The peeps were nice ('somehow' ended up in a caravan which looked ok well it will do when they screw all the mirrors back to the walls!! lol) The guys in the shop were so funny and there's a place that sells hot brews that you don't have to make yourself with a hangover! There's the 'Pheonix Nights' club AKA WAVES! well good while ur waitin 4 the bus into town.

The only bad thing i can say bout smugglers is that they close the gate in between the camp site and Trevelgue so when you come home pissed make sure you get a lift to the smugglers enterence so you don't have to treck or climb over the fence!!

to anyone that was in smugglers haven from july 17th to the 24th this is the chepstow girls speaking. everyone will vouch with me at what an amazing time we all had(apart from the caravan being driven into by the stolen car). ignore all the back feedback being posted about the caravans they are not 5* living but it is most definataely worth staying in, their comfortable, clean-ish and the parties continue well past 5am.
us chepstow girls made ourselves pretty known for our loudness and partying....thats the best way to meet the campsite!!

That's a weird thing about Newquay, the townies there aren't like th townies back home. I usually have as little as possible to do with them around here but we met loads of 'barrys' down in Newquay last year and they were all sound, spent a load of time with them we we got back to the campsite. Just something about Newquay!

Hey!? i'm not sure how old this thread is but i wanted to unleash some smugglers shit on ya! Basically..i stayed there this year 7th to 14th July with probably about 30 m8s (3 Caravans n 2 Tents) There are a few words you could use 2 describe our trip but one stands out - STUPID! We all got so ridiculously drunk, mashed and just tired that by the end we all wanted to stay away from each other! Some people registered to this site might recall what we were accused of whilst staying at the campsite - smashing up 4 caravans. I want to put it to rest that it was nothing to do with us. One of my m8s Linton smashed a window in one caravan by accident, because he was on 'shrooms and is just generally nuts. Overall we had a wicked time, although some of the group were only 17, they got in2 clubs n everything most nights and there were no major disasters. (well except being evicted temporarily for something we didn't do!) I'd recommend Smugglers if only for the reasonable staff who let us back in despite what seemed like overwhelming evidence against us. Oh and yeah, there's alot of townies! Most are safe indeed (i'm probably a townie to be honest) but there was a caravan of essex girls near ours, n they were ****in bitter..cus me n a mate both blew out 2 of them lol but yeah..i recommend smugglers!!!!!
