Parking Problems

We're coming to newquay in September and we've booked a place. The only thing is it doesnt offer any parking! The map says there are lots of carparks around but can anyone advice us on how much it costs to leave ur car there for the day? It's creating a bit of dilemma so any help would be grateful! Thanx!!

Your best bet is to sling all your kit out where you're staying and park in one of the back streets (head inland from town centre) which are free and not a million miles away from town - ten minutes walk unless you've tiny legs??? Ideally park under a lampost with you stereo removed and glove box empty and open and your parecel shelf removed showing you've nothing in the boot... Sadly light fingered miscreants do screw peoples' cars and it's never good to find yours done on your hols.... Parking out of town means you're less likely to find some twit has either regurgitated their dinner and drinkies over your bonnet or decided to leave footprint shaped dents in your roof...

Not wishing to sound all doom and gloom though! September is less silly than July and August and the water is still nice and warm (ish???)...

I hope you have a top time on your hols...

Enjoy!
