Wink Newquay Surf Lodge

Heya, me and my mates have just come back from an amazing week in Newquay! We had sooo much fun and will never forget it! We stayed at Newquay Surf Lodge which i'd recommend to anyone about 16, as we made loads of friends our age there. Clubs were really strict on ID so didn't bother trying to get in anywhere, which i thought would make the holiday a bit sh*t, but we went to the beach and met loads of people and had a great time! Towan is the best beach if ur staying near the centre of Newquay cos Fistral's a bit of a treck, but u gotta try it out i guess. Message me if u have nay questions about anything, might b able to help! rosie xxx

I am glad you had such a great time Rosie. But isn't it horrible when you have to leave Newquay and go home. Its no wonder people up sticks and moved there.I hope its not to long before you go back to Newquay.

We were very lucky with the weather and spent every day on Fistral beach and technically half the night there too. We stayed at Base surf lodge which was wicked, everyone was our age and v .cool including the staff. It was close to everything important - the beach, somerfield, the town. We were also regular visitors to the Cribber Green Rooms where we discovered a creme egg shot mmmmmmmmm. We would go back next week, if we had the money but we don't. We are already saving and planning for 2 weeks next year at the Base surf lodge of course!

If you check out some of the surf lodge web sites, sometimes they show that they have job vacancys. But if the do,it normally appears around April time.

Quality, me and the boyfriend are staying there the day after boxing day for a few days away, he stayed there during the summer, guys there are ment to be well alrite. Taking him down for a bit of winter surfing, but by the feel of things he may b on his own, lol, a lil bit chilly for my liking. Unless there's any advice on winter surfing in general and keeping warm?

Back now arn't you, how was it?
