Help us stay an extra night...!

Hi guys can anyone help me... please? I am 25 and me and my mate (both female surfers) are arriving in Newquay on 18th August. However, we have accomodation for 19th-22nd at the Aquashack but need somewhere for the night of the 18th. Problem is Aquashack only do long weekend or week stays and we needed a four night place. We booked it anyway but now need a one nighter place. Thinking something that is cool but not hen night/stag party type place. Can anyone help? Plus if anyone is about during those dates and likes to surf then let me know.

Your help is needed and will be appreciated. Cheers.

Have tried The Lighthouse... no luck there! I emailed a few others though, a place called Fairview can have us for the one night, do you know anything about that place at all? I guess we'll have to be a "it's only one night" about it really cos we've got the other three sorted. Actually, does anyone know anything about the AquaShack where we're spending the 3 nights? some info would ve much appreciated.

Can't wait to drive down now, not long - this week and then we're off. It's going to be pretty busy though as we're in Amsterdam on the 15th-17th and then driving to Newquay on the 18th -22nd. Be brilliant though.

Last time we came was 2 years ago. Has much changed?

Let us know.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what it's like when we get there right?

Hope that we do bring some good surf with us, but we've never been all that lucky - went to Biaartz last year which was ace. Hoping for some of the same.

How long you guys been surfing?

Does it really look nice? guess I'll see next week right?

Being able to surf everyday is the luxery you have of being near the waves at all times. I live in Bedfordshire, which is about an hour and a half from any kind of coast (nearest being Norfolk... not exactly known for the surf really!). Been surfing since I was 17 but cos it's more of a summer thing for me I'd say that I'm still learning... unfortunately. But I love it and would do it all the time if I could but reality beckons in the form of primary school children (I'm a teacher!).

How long you been in Newquay? and has it really turned into Chav town?

Ah yes, but are you teaching little darlings or the big scary kids? not got any tips really except make sure you know what the kids are into and go with it... even if it is McFly or Angelina Ballerina!!! I just have a laugh with them most days, it really is the best job - days pass so quick. What degree are you doing? and a rather personal Q - how old are you? if you're teaching big kids then I think it's better to be 30+ - then they don't try to be "your friends"!!!

Glad you make the most of the sea - lucky boy! Wish I could be nearer... may be one day.

Glad this Fairview place looks ok. Only staying there one night though, then it's off to the Aqua Shack...
