hey, me n probably 6 or 7 girl mates (16) are planning to go to newquay next year after our gcse's sum time late june-july. we found two hostel which sound ok, Newquay surf lodge and Seaway surf lodge. just wondering if anyone knew anything about them? or any other decent hostels with a kitchen? info like what the rooms are like and if the location is good cos we dont reli wanna be stuck up on top of a hill! anything would be helpful.

hey thanks alot, yeh i read the newquay surf lodge thread. but any info on seaways? doesnt really matter lol but any info on newquay wud be helpful, ne gud hostels or nightlife n surfing stuff

if you just have a scan around the forum there's loadsa stuff on every aspect of the fair town that is newquay hope you enjoy your stay when you get there!!

yeh lol i no its early... but we r all ded broke so we need time to decide whether sum of us can actually get the cash to cum cin as it looks virtually impossible for us to get jobs where we live! also its too late, ive already been sucked into all things newquay! dont blame me for gettin too excited

Heya! well id definatley recomend newquay surf lodge cos i stayed there this summer in july and had the best time ever. Its a really cool place and is situated in a gd place too. Its nearest beaches are towan and great western, and we spent every day at towan which was a really nice beach.there is the "old tram track" which is a foot path basically straight from The lodge into Town which is handy. The rooms are okay, obviously very basic but its ok, and the lounge is cool and the man dusnt seem 2 care about drinking or smoking, or smoking weed in the lounge. Theres like a garden aswell where u can BBQ and hang out. When we stayed every single person there was 16 so tht was really gd. ANyway if u have any questions about the lodge, or newquay dnt hesitate to ask! hope this was help full, but id definatley go back to Newquay Surf Lodge!! xx Hollie xx

Hey! How about looking at Base Surf Lodge, its really close to fistral and somerfields if u havent got enought money to eat out! Lol We mostly had bbqs at the lodge or down at fistral. Nothing better than watching the surf as the sun goes down with a beer!

yeh, i just checked out Base surf lodge and it seems pretty cool. Does it have a Kitchen? it think we r looking for one with as we thought it wud b better than spending money out each night. but what do u think? is it really neccesary. and also how do people who dont live near newquay get down there? whats the best way? we r thinkin train but ne help wud be reli good!

Yooooo ... Im new here so hi Elspeth ... Im 16 and me and my mates are looking to head off to Nequay at the start of July after our GCSEs 2! ... Ive had a look at Newquay Reef Surf Lodge & Reef Surf Lodge - Dont get mixed up ... Aparantly the latter is awful - the pics look nice and sweet and cool but its a complete let-down according to my sister - I also found Base, Seaways & Escape but Escap appears to be more for the late teens - Who would get served in the bar ... We r lookin 4 a more relaxed place where as Hollie stated they let you drink at our age without any fuss ... The weed also tickles me fancy =] ... Have you got a website or anything about NSL or just any info
