Hi all!

WazMeister is returning to newquay!

April time and this time I'm pushing out the boat and living like a king! We are going to kip in a B&B rather than vietnarm it on the beach or in car parks .

Just seeking some opinons on Home Surf Lodge, Walked past it all the time while out there and it seems pretty nice but has anyone here stayed there before?

What are the rooms like? The site does not give much info on it let alone much at all....

Does each room have its own bathrooms? is it self use kitchen?

I'm going to phone them during the week but just seeking what others thought of it!

i stayed at home surf lodge last week and it was the worst place ive ever stayed in newquay, it was run terribly the people who work there basically do what they feel like and just look after themselves. when you ask them anything they sigh and when we arrived it took over an hour to check in. breakfast was toast, when we wer lucky serial if not, the room downstairs was always locked apart from when the staff wanted to go in there. they dont have a self use kitchen our room was really tiny, there was sand in the beds when we got there. i would honestly say do not stay there unless you really cant get anywhere else!,
sorry to rant so much but it really was that bad. ive stayed at matts surf lodge and vacation lodge buth of them were great but vacation is my favorite.
