Reef surf lodge?

Hi there, im new to these forums, so howdy! Just looking for some info on the reef surf lodge, we're already booked in (21-28 July) and I've heard a couple of good opinions, but if anyone else knows anything about the place I'll give you a big kiss. Unless you're a dude, then you get a high five.

Ghost town mate in November compared to the summer season. Some even say desolate

Most hotels / surf lodges are still open and things will get a little busier on Fridays & Saturdays but midweek ... watch the tumbleweed

Okay, its not quite that bad as some saddo's do drive five hours plus just to go clubbing in Newquay, sleep in their cars & then bugger off ... but mainly weekends.

Plus the water starts getting cold then too.
