I want a beetle 1200 or 1300cc I don't mind doing some work on it. I need it to be running excellent, brakes etc, but don't mind if it scruffy or needs a shed load of welding doing! I have a beetle fund to pay for it or I have a P 1996/7 Rover 100 alarm immb. etc 40 mpg taxed until Feb 04. I will mot for 12 months.

I've got a 1973 1303 1600cc. Spent loads on mechanics, new tyres and battery ( have receipts), then it has sat in my garage for the last 2 years (you can imagine the grief I'm getting off my missus. needs new wings and side steps (couple of hundred quid max) one bit of welding under battery box. drove well last time i used it...open to offers or swap WHY..car is in Essex near Dartford Crossing. if interested give me a call on 07813 600472

i will take some piccies this weekend and email them to you. as to price make me an offer, not looking for alot as i know it needs abit of work. or may swap for something interesting....don't really need another car, already have 4 and may be out on the streets if i bring another one home
have you found a bug yet?? i have just decided to sell my beloved 1972 1300cc lowrider!
it's blue and creme and has been made to look like a pre-67. it's really solid and has passed both mot's that I've put it through.
it's a bit scruffy on the outside but still looks cool.
it's got MOT until June 05 nd is tax exempt.
unfortunately I don't want a rover but if your fund stretches to a grand you could buy yourself a solid, funky ride.
