Lightbulb Smugglers Haven

Hey all,
Um just a general enquiry really, there is a bunch of 12 of us plannin to stay at Smugglers Haven in September. Is there still many people in Newquay in Sept? cause we are looking for some good nightlife and a hell of a few good laughs! Also what is Smugglers Haven actually like? and how far from the centre is it?
Cheers me dears!

compared to july and august the place really slows down in sept. Sure theres still ppl there but its not particulary lively IMO.

Yes m8 stayed there about 4 yrs ago, I`m not going to put u under any illusions fella the place is not exactly the ritz. But it surfices as somewhere to stay for a week or so. We had a few problems with the security now and again because its next to a familly site the music got a bit loud in the early hours but apart from that it was a damn good holiday. As for distance from town its about a 5 minute taxi journey but would want to speculate how long to walk. Its not really the distance more the fact there are some decent sized hills. Wouldnt want to stagger back after a nite out lets put it that way.

i`d say sunnyside is better simply because we had a better holiday there than smugglers. In terms of facilties there about the same. Beach partys were still going on at the wk end but if im honest they were barely recognisable from the ones in july and aug. It was a big shock to me how fast the place got deserted at the start of sept so i dont have good memories of sept in newquay. I`d still rather be there than in nottingham but it was just a shock to the system.

Hey matey went to Newquay in Aug last year and the night life did not seem that busy to me, but i'm use to big city nightlife! It was still hot and some nice waves so thats all that matters really

We had not booked anything just drove down and went around the camsites, Did not really like the look of smugglers and Sunnyside was 10x worse full of chavs

We ended up staying at Rosecliston Park which was great very clean, Swimminh pool, Bar, Showers, Pool Tabel!!! Taxi to Town Center was only £2 Bargin runs till all hours
