Wink s or s.

hey ho. ive been to smugglers a few times and ive always had a wicked time. People normally really friendly and easy to get along with, although this yr we are giving sunnyside a go-had some hassle from the night watchmen last year who thought it was ok to let themselves into our room and go through our stuff. didn't find much anyway (hid it too well) nah.
anyway just have a brilliant time, spend all day in the sea, all night in town and all morning messing about back at the campsite.

oh both sites 18-30's although smugglers has adjoining family campsite so can't be too noisy whereas sunnyside just 18-30's alone as i believe it.

who to beleive?

Me and my friends are also trying to decide between smugglers and sunnyside for a holiday mid september.

I've heard both good and bad things said about both sites......who do i believe? which site is better?

we are gonna be staying in a caravan...

Sunnyside seems more friendly, better because it is 100% 18-30's, but is furthur away from the town centre and makes you pay £50 per person "refundable" deposit on top of paying for accomodation!

Smugglers is closer to a beach, closer to the town centre but also right next door to a family site. Smugglers only has £50 per UNIT refundable deposit but you aso have to pay £25 per person "good behavior bond"

I think at the moment the only thing that is making us lean towards smugglers is its location....

any ideas or suggestions?

thanks in advance
luv
gini

p.s my single friends are worried that they won't be allowed to bring "guests" back to the caravan....anyone know how strict they are on this?
Also one of our party is moaning about staying in a caravan because he reckons it will rock when people are "entertaining guests", not likely is it?

Of course it is! Dependant on how 'energetic' they are

And if it doesn't give them hell for being crap at it

Question wobbling knobbing

oh come on these are static caravans.....

I've been in normal caravans and camper vans and I know these DO wobble if you 'jump up and down' in them, but static caravans are practically little houses aren't they?

anyways this guy is only jealous coz he probably won't be getting any......or are the girls in newquay so easy even he will be able to bed someone after 20 pints????

hmmmmm

camp

We stayed at Smugglers Haven last year and apart from the evil seaglls of doom which woke us up at 4am every morning (I dreamt about mutant outsize seagulls toying with the zip of my tent every night)the place was fine. The shower blocks were a revelation - I was prepared for pre-historic squalour and almost didn't pack my hairdryer. Far from it. I saw one girl actually take x3 electric hair appliances to the shower block with her. The wideboys with lowered suspension were entertaining and the dramatic air-ambulance incident broke the day up nicely.

Go Camp. Don't do any of that nasty caravan rubbish.

Thanks for your opinions, i definately feel more relaxed about going to smugglers now.....am not expecting mouldy showers and rusty caravans.

We did camping last year and we've already booked a caravan now anyways.....

Hi!

I go down to Newquay every month and have stayed at both places. They are both ok but camping has its disadvantages as does caravaning.

Have you tried the surf lodges in Newquay. Because of the competition between them, they are getting smartened up.

We stayed at what is now called the Cribber Green Rooms last summer. It has just been refurbished and is amazing!!!

Its about the same cost as the campsites and is right next to Fistral Beach, I mean RIGHT next to it!!!!! The staff are great, really friendly and know everything there is to know about the place. They'll even take you out on the town!!!!

Ages of guests are about 18-30.

Believe me, the summer we had last year was the best we have ever had, will definitely not stay at a campsite again!!!! Check it out.

sunny side.

i spent a week at sunny side last year. It was crazy but after sayin that we would have had a mad time anywhere. We mostly spent our nights in the walkabout then sleeping on the beach any way. I did get naked and ran round for a bit Have a good time where ever you go it doesnt matter. Its the people that count

Hello! I stayed in sunnyside for 2 weeks last year and i had a great time! the caravans arent really all that, but when u think about it, u dont spend much time in there, only to sleep and get ready to go out! I'd recommend it because of the atmosphere there, everyone is so friendly and after a nite out clubbin u can either have ur own party or find one, or even go exploring and go into random caravans to make some new friends!
