If you say your a family to jinx them into getting you booked at the site you want, on your arrival they'll take one look at you lot & you'll just be kicked out. Plain & simple with a loss of deposit etc.
Not saying you or your friends are nasty, loud, obnoxious people but a lot of these sites will separate the groups for a good reason. So families will stay around other families, groups of friends will stay around other groups of friends & so forth.
The sites are there to make money & if they let a group of lads, lasses or a mixed group stay in the family section. Then at 4am for example someone comes back drunk, singing & spewing everywhere families won't be happy. Fathers get irrate & that's how fights start ... been there seen that
Then the site faces complaints, people refusing to pay & obviously they won't be returning to that site so they lose future custom, plus bad news travels faster than good. Likewise I'm sure the groups staying don't want to worry about being very very quiet on their return from a night out either.
Speak to the site & ask them straight why you can't get the site you want. Failing that go elsewhere.
