Right there's a few of us from Blackpool coming down via Global Gathering in late July/Early August (and then back home via Ultimate Street Car/POD, can't wait), but anyway I digress...

I'm just looking for places people would recommend to stay. We're camping it up, but everything I read about Sunnyside just makes it sound like its a shit hole, is it? Although apparently its closed down for a refurb, due to re-open Spring this year?

Also seen Smugglers Haven but that seems pretty much in the same vein as Sunnyside. Too many chavs, too much fighting, not enough enjoying!

So what I'm looking for is a happy medium... somewhere lively, with like minded people, want to get drunk, but chilled with it! Football with a fly away, playing poker while getting a tan....that sorta shit! Its what holidays are all about.

So if anybody can help me out, it'd be much appreciated. First time to Newquay so want to make it a rockin' week!

you dont say how old you are?

last year i stayed at Tregustick with lots of friends, we were 16 but there was people upto about 25 there.

It was an amazing week. lots of partying, chilling, and many games of poker. the site is small but safe and you reallly get to know everyone there. Theres buses running into towm until 3 in the morning and i really would recomend it if its your first time down there and you just want a fun week.
