Have been reading through the forum and found some contradicting stuff as to where to stay!! Im coming down in the week after GCSE's with 5 other 16yo lads from london and want to know wheres better to stay as far as distance to beaches and quality goes as well as the all important fun factor!!! Camping or surf lodges? If camping where?? If lodges where?? Chavs isn't an issue for us as everyone seems to be obsessed about - not that we are chavs - but really dont mind them, in fact they can be a laugh most of the time. Look forward to gettin some replies. Would be good to know if anyone else is goin down so get in touch.

Lads, welcome to the forum.

Surf Lodges will always be nearer to the town of Newquay / beaches / clubs etc as the camp sites are located further out, normally a bus ride away.

Good luck in finding somewhere though as this time of year the great student deluge begins
