ID - photocopied passports?

me and 3 mates are coming down next mon, staying at smugglers in a GIGANTIC hlaf tent half castle.

we are all 18 but arent allowed to take our passports with us...grr annoying parents!! will colour photocopies be accepted?
none of us drive yet so we dont have licenses or anything either!!
i will be so bummed out if we dont get it anywhere!!

opinions?

doubt they will take a copy but u could try and get yourself some prove it cards or whatever they are called these days.

Problem with photocopies is that they can be prone to some photoshop type action these days, especially with the advent years ago of the all in one printer units that you can now get very cheaply. I certainly never accepted photocopied passports at the establishments I worked at.

Driving licence is always a good one lads, even a provisional if none of you drive if you have the time to apply & get it done. Bith certificate isn't photo ID either so I would no no that as well on its own.

As for the 'prove-it' cards I never liked them as again they are easy to fake. The goverment approved ones that had leaflets in most pubs, bars & clubs had an orange frontage & the card itself was a light grey in colour. CAN'T FIND A LINK !!!
