Another camping thread :)

I was determined to stay away from posting here

We've got ourselves in a bit of a pickle...

We're a group of fourteen 16 year olds, mixed sex. We made plans to stay at Smugglers Haven back in February but recently on of our group was looking through reviews and found a couple of bad ones. The main issues from these were drug dealing and a knife through someone's tent , and because of this a few people in our group have asked to go elsewhere.

I've looked at all the places posted on this site but all are full

We're not out to go partying or to try sneak into any nightclubs, just to go down and enjoy the boardmasters to celebrate the end of school.

Any other suggestions as to other campsites would be muchly appreciated!

Thanks!

Also we're due to pay for Smugglers next week.

unfortunatly its hard to find anywhere in a group. you may find some cheaper sites about that will take you. else maybe try booking in smaller groups. maybe try the tourist infomation for a list of sites or a search on here.
good luck.

Good luck with your search DEC, its actually faith restoring to see a decent post from someone your age dude.

As MICROBUS said there are plenty of links on this website to various camping sites on here so try your luck.

I'm glad you think so! It's good to see a community that's willing to help people no matter what opinions they may have of them

I've sorted through them all and rang/emailed about 15 in total but no luck.

I'm sure we'll be fine anyway, thanks for the suggestions!

maybe worth trying the towns just down the coast or inland a bit. the buses are really good around newquay. also there are some cheap field with a porta loo type sites about but im not sure how you would find them lol. have u thought about a caravan or surf lodge?
