the problem you will have is campsites don't like groups of lads. not matter how old, well suppose when u get to ur 30's ur meant to be sensible! but if you book 2 pitches straight after each other in different names, and arrive at the same time it is poss u'll get put next to each other anyway. dunno how bigger group u'll be going in though.

yourmom,
I stayed at Rosecliston for a couple of months in the summer 4 a couple of months, i saw many groups of lads turn up on the day and get a pitch no probs but if u plan on coming down during the rip curl festival i suggest u book somewhere. As for age restrictions there were ppl that look considerably younger then 16 staying there and as for the clubs if u look older than 15 i think u stand a good chance of getting in.

Sunnyside (even tho they advertise as 18-30s) allows 16-18 year olds with a signature from parent or guardian. i'm 16 and going up after the GCSEs - 17th of July - i know loadsa people who are going so the place will be swarming with 16 year olds - hope the bouncers don't catch on that we're all underage.

Ive stayed at both, it really depends on what type of holiday youre after. Rosecliston is far smaller than sunnyside so its more relaxed and clean, probably slightly cheaper too. Its the sort of place that everyone gets together round a camp fire and u get merry then head into town. There quite strict on noise levels after 11pm though as its not a site that solely caters for 18-30 there are some famillys that use it too so if ure expecting to carry on the party once u get back forget it as u will be thrown off the site. Sunnyside is more your classic english version of and ibiza 18-30. Loads of different ppl to meet, more facilites but that also leads to more crime (ie ppl breakin into your caravan). But if your intent on getting smashed every nite there is no better place in newquay. The atmosphere is v.good on the site at nite almost as good as in town at times, they put on buses to ferry u back from town on late nites and when u get back the party can carry on almost indefinatly within reason. Hope this helps

I`d say both are a couple of miles from the beaches. Rosecliston is closer but u wouldnt want to walk from either of them to be honest. They both have taxi services to take u back and forth through out the day. Sunnyside has a bus serivce that runs into the early hours of the morning and rosecliston has an agreement with a local taxi firm with a pick up point just up from the central pub. Its a bit hit and miss though i`d say late nite wise sunnyside is more relaible to get home without walking. But if u do end up walking which i have to both sites i`d rather walk back to rosecliston. Pubs and clubs wise if u look 16 or older then there will be no problem i`ve seen ppl in the clubs that look younger than 16 too so i cant see much of a problem unless u all look considerably younger than u are.

if u want somewhere that's (apparently) right next to the beeches and town, cribbers green rooms looks good. it's not a campsite, but budget accomodation. it's £140 for a week.

where bout do u live? if ur going down the same time as me and my mates we'll have to go out clubbing...

cant answer that specifically as ive never stayed at cribber but from my experience i think its fair to say that the sites like sunnyside, smugglers, rosecliston etc will have a lower average age than places like cribber green rooms.
