I've noticed that the usual "WE'RE GOING TO NEWQUAY AFTER OUR EXAMS NEXT YEAR & WE WANT TO MEET FIT PEOPLE & GET INTO CLUBS & BARS UNDER AGE & STAY FOR FREE & LEARN TO SURF & BE BEACH GODS & & & ...." type posts are starting early this year

As its located 1.5 miles from Newquay your gonna have a walk to the beach let me tell you!
There aren't any campsites near Newquay itself but most do some sort of shuttle service or have bus stops nearby to get into the towns or beaches.
The website for them is :
www.rosecliston.co.uk
I've never been there but passed it loads of times & it looks pleasant enough. Use the forums search facilities & GOOGLE to find other campsites.
There is a place nearby called CRANTOCK which has a campsite near the beach, but its not NEWQUAY.

Dear me! My boyfriend and I are heading down to Newquay for the first time in August for the Ripcurl Boardmasters, will we arrive to find the beaches, campsites and clubs littered with illiterate drunk 16 year olds?

Hi Green_tea,
Try The trencreek holiday park, great for camping, couples only though which might suit you and your boyfriend, it's around £7 a night with great facilities, swimming pool, bar, etc.
It's a respectable place, as in, if your too roudy and noisey especialy at night they'll ask you to leave but still it's a great place!
It's also about 5-10 minutes walk to Newquay and the beaches via Wildflower Lane (footpath)

However due to your age you will have problems on the drink side of things as they're very hot on this.

Rosecliston 2009????
Hey all..... me and a dozen lads are going down to newquay in July 2009 to celebrate the finishing of our GCSEs. I have looked through this great site and would like to know if Rosecliston is a good place to be. I have heard that an easy journey can be made to Newquay are there any under-18 clubs?
thanks

There are under 18 nights in some of the clubs but not one specific under 18 club.
