If its ok with your folks for you to go away alone at 16, then the only way round it is.............TO LIE.
They don't usually ask for proof or age when you get there, but its a chance you've gotta take!!
Sorry if i've upset anyone!!

rose cliston rocks!! they have a great bar on site too!! night life is good, but some nights they are strict on I.D. we went last year when we were all 17, only got turned away once in the week. try berties, sailors or koola bar for dj sets etc.

yeah they do!! well..ish!! we didn't say we were under 18, if you do't wanna lie, your parents can sign a disclaimer, BUT if they know u r underage, dunno how cool they'd be on the ol' drinking!
We used to go to safeway's, get some burgers etc, have a barbie and some bevvies before town. they don't mind drinking and u won't afford to go out every night, so the campsite is good to stay at some nights.
When u get back to ur tents aswell there's loadsa activity, still people awake, we had a different group of people over each night!! u meet loadsa cool people camping.
Rosecliston is by far the best place for you to stay, it's easy going!
By the way, u may feel young on the site when u first get there, but u soon realise there's a lot of 16 & 17 year olds around and everyone gets on so well anyway so it doesn't matter!! we're going 31 - 13, may c u down there!
Hope this helps!

i totally agree rosecliston is best...i think sunnyside is a bit of a dive, my bro stayed there last summer and said it was s*it...(no offence n e 1!!) we had booze on shit they didn't seem to mind, and i think they kinda guessed that we werent 18 but didnt id us which was "super cool!" lol. me and some friends are going down 10th of july but we are staying in a hotel!! hee hee! when u going?
im off to newquay tomoz aswell....gotta get up at 4:00 am... so if n e 1 is reading this from newquay then look out for a girl with long brown hair in the line up!!

it's about 2 miles outside of town, but always taxi's running and there's enough people to make it £1 each way.
no night clubs, their own bar, 'Oz', is good, bit tame, plays a lot of rock music, good for chilling. Just go to town for clubs.
