I think the forums clock is out as I've just posted at 04:16 & its showing the time around 10am !!!

I posted at about 8.30 this mornign and could see AW's post was showing as 11.00 ish but when I sent my post it jumped in front of his, bit weird

when i click on the new posts it shows threads from yesterday also the fistral beach one always shows a latest thread by ancient william but the last post is over a month old.
i told you i was new to this forum thing so i'm not sure if it's me, i have checked my computer date and time and all is ok. any ideas

That happens when someone has posted spam and i have deleted it.So it looks like a new post as been posted.

Hi Max,

Further to Stormy's comment above, every time someone votes in a thread with a poll even thought they did not post a reply, this will show in New Posts. I agree it is little missleading, but at least it shows there was some sort of activity going on in there.

Ancient, let me know if this issue persists. I checked your chosen time in your profile and it is showing correctly for the UK time zone. Check time on your computer from where you 'frequent' this forum.

I was in Newquay for a week until few days ago and it was one of my most satisfying visits to the region. Eden Project was excellent - as always.
