Bodyboarding!
I think that there should be a space on the forum for bodyboarders. The sport is growing and now I no many spongers who do not have a say anywhere. Please could you make one?

Its funny you should say that, bcoz me and m8s have always said, to say that bodyboarding, surfing etc meant to be free sports, its not very free or cheap, and I think its wrong that people on lower incomes aren't really catered for, especially when it comes to quality or cewlness. Not everyone is rolling in dosh, and have been doing a bit of research about all sorts of things, and I've come up with something, not on a major scale, but something that ensures young peeps like yourself look cewl still, but don't have to pay over the odds. Am keeping it under my belt for now, until I get sorted bcoz I haven't long moved and need to get house in order, coz,am sorry, but I don't want anybody pinchin my idea and what Ive found out you see, lol. So sort of watch this space, and hope you still look at these boards, because would like to see what you think when that time comes.

For less than £100.00 brand new or £50.00 at the most second hand you can kit yourself out for body boarding with quality gear & from then on its free.
So over even a period of a few weeks if you look at hiring prices you can make your money back, or at least some of it. STORMY on this forum is a good example of this with very little outlay for his stuff a few summers back.
By the way ... whats 'cewl' !?!!
Do you mean cool !?!!

Yes, i agree with you, but have you looked at the choice on offer from new with a limited amount of money. Well with my particular skill i posess and my dad being a technological chemist etc, together we have come up with something that i can do,that is long lasting, cheap and looks cool(yes cewl means cool ancient william, ) Well, ive already run a few off and took them to various places and even peeps with money have thought they are wicked, but boo hoo hoo, it sounds as though before ive even shown anyone what ive done youre poo pooing it ive tried this with not only bodyboards, but surf boards aswell, new and secondhand, and to say its cheap, cheap enuf for a kid of 10 to even afford isnt that a good thing?
I started doing it in 94, and ive seen people who still have the boards i did back then and what i have done to it still, still looks as good as it did the day i completed it and handed it to them.i havent just asked people in this country, have gone abroad too to see wether there is a need for it, and yes there is. especially in order for it to look professionally done too nobody has seriously thought about this end of the market. But I have. And when you think me and my dad came up with it together in 93 and the first was actually sold in 94,for 20 quid thats 14 years that noone else has even done it successfully

Appreciate that you cant actually comment yet, Once iv got my crap together, and somehow posted photos and more information, lol it will be easier to talk about it. Ive not done a surf course thing at uni or anything like that,im just an average surfer that happens to be able to pick my dads brains, and together, come up with this. What was funny, is that heres my Dad, a proper full on science dude getting well into the make up of surfboards, bodyboards etc what chemicals etc theyre made up of etc, and really getting into how they work, perform and everything else! He liked it as a sort of hobby/sideline at weekends using his knowledge to do with something really cool and picking my brains as to how they perform etc.was well mad, lol.
