hi dont know wether any one can help but iam heading down to newquay with a load of my mates on friday night for a week of newquays finest. unfortunatley none of the guys iam going down with are taking there bikes but ive got to take mine.iam just trying to get a bit more information on the bmx sene down there, like whats the skatepark like? whats the best time to go? is there any street spots in or around town? is the mini ramp on fistral ridable on a bmx?

any feed back would be a big help.

I don't BMX, but went to the skate park just after it opened, the set-up looked really good, and the standard of riding looked good as well, quite busy though (looked just like the Extreme Sports Channel!).

There's a bunch of other skate parks around Newquay (you'd have to drive or hop on a bus), if you want somewhere quieter.

As for the mini ramp at Fistral, you mut've seen that on the Boardmasters' website or something, 'cos there's just a car park there at the moment (they must be planning on putting all that stuff there for the competitions, so unless you plan on entering, you won't get near with your bike, might get lucky if you sneak there at night, but probably get chased away by security guards! The skate park is up near the swimming pool.)
