i.d 4 clubs

hiya just wondering i'm 19 and so are all my other mates who are coming , but i don't have much i.d i have a birth ceritcate , train card with my date of birth , and my local nightclub membership card with dob, are they strict over there.
what would you guys say the best clubs are? and which clubs do cheap drink

Hey angel

I don't think you'll have much to worry about as long as you have some photo I.D, whether it be ur train card or a driving license. I know they had a massive crackdown on I.D last summer and no doubt they will continue that this year but it was basically because the big clubs were letting in loads of youngens, the of-age kids complained and the police found out and threatened the clubs with closure

Seen as ur actually old enuff i can't see you having a problem

Club Wise - most are cheap for entry unless you arrive real late, like midnightish they wiil charge u loads but the majority are the same as most clubs in UK if u get there b4 11 its usually free or £1/2

Clubs like the Beach Club run alcopop promos all summer long and i know clubs like Sailors/Berties/Tall Trees all run promos on cheap bottles and stuff

Tall Trees its a little out of the town centre but the bouncers pay ur taxi fare anyway so no worries there.

I'm going with some mates next friday

for a long weekend and if its up to me, we'll be visiting Sailors once and then Tall trees for both other nights. Tall Trees is quality, the best in Newquay in my humble opinion. Check the website www.talltreesclub.co.uk for night listings and stuff

yeh me and my mates, are 16 and 17, what do u think is the likly ness of us being i.d'd, and do u think and fake i.d wud do the trick ???? azza

ah give 'em a fair go. bet you used to drink when you were underage! anyway azzman, me and my mates often went out at that age and had no probs gettin in but since theres been a bit of a crackdown i'm not so sure nowadays!

like like starfish sure u use 2 drink underage, plus ne way if i came into a same club as u and i looked 18 u wudnt no ne way wud ya,

They are & have been doing the ID crackdown again especially where the weather recently changed & kids are arriving in droves.

Driving licence, passport or a genuine birth certificate with a valid university ID card are the only things some places are taking with no exceptions.

Most Doorstaff & management are more than experienced enough to know that 'other' ID cards can be faked from internet & EBay sellers. Any fool with the equipment & a PC could do it to be honest, plus with all Doorstaff now under the new S.I.A licence they are under very, very strict rules & agenda.

So its pot luck if you try fake ID or are under age really. Officers from other forces are rumoured to be spending the season with Devon & Cornwalls finest purely to assist in the nightlife Policing as they do it 52 weeks a year unlike some places in the South West.

These boys are from the likes of G.Manchester, The MET, Surrey etc. So they know what there doing & won't be messing around

And i would just like to remind everyone that the police look at this site.And even ask Ivan to put a police notice for surfers NOT to leave their car keys under the wheel arches.As car are being stolen while were all out surfing.

i used to take one key with me, and stick it under the frot bumper- under the lip

A lot of surfers do the same thing,but found out to their cost that car thieves look in those sort of places.

- i dont anymore. but last year a whole lot of us went. i dont know whic his safer. under the lip of my bumper, or with my friends- all of which dont have licences!

sorry- back to subject as well. i got id'd everywhere last year, i was 18 then. it didn't bother me, but there was a girl we knew who was 16, and she got into everywhere without id

just the luck of the draw i spose

The sort of thing happened to me.The last time i got asked my age,i was 26.And my girlfriend at the time was 17,and she got in the club with no trouble at all.She thought it was really funny,me having to convince the door person i was 26. 'lol'

Girls have it easy! I have heard that this is done on purpose by alot of clubs as if there are more girls than boys in a club it will attract more boys, dosen't work visa versa!

Was going to berties last year with a bunch of lads...me and the bro got id'd and we whipped out our driving licenses....The bouncers looked at them and told us they were fake

...i said so the 3 points i have on it are fake then

.....10 mins later after speaking to his boss we all get let in the club

...apparently they rarely see the cream ones....its normally the green ones with an L in the corner

.....Moral of the story dont pass ur driving test and get let into clubs no questions asked

.....

Roll on 13th Aug for more surf......
