rooms to rent??!!
hey guys..any chance anyone could give me any info!.I'm trin to get hold of a room for rent cuz me and my mate and comin down in a couple of weeks and are hopin to stay for a couple of months!i'd be really grateful of any suggestions!

Theres always plenty of rooms for rent advertised in The Choc Box window on Marcus hill..cud try that one...ur lookin at the worst possible time tho..summa jollys..kiddies off skool n all dat...

I looked at the adverts in The Choc Box window last week,along side 20 others.I had to push my way through to get a look at the window.Like you said Hips,it the wrong time of the year to try looking.

yeh i know!its sucks...couldnt leave work til this month which was a pain!i'll try ur suggestions tho cheers!is there any hope at all gettin a room?cuz otherwise i'm worried about being stranded and homeless!lol!xx

Can't see you bein on the street or anythin like that..always b&b as a last resort but that wud be pretty costly...luck of the draw reely...you cud find sumthin easily or look all week n find nuthin...just how serious are you...you talkin weeks or months?

There is an article in the Newquay Voice,that the council will not find homes for people who make themselves homeless,just to live in Newquay.
Bang goes my idea of moving down to Newquay.

Think its the same everywhere tho mate 
You can still do it tho..plenty of jobs in your line of work..find a place to rent...bobs ur uncle

Hey all, k 1st post so re we go. Moving down myself in like 3 weeks, my accom about sorted but i have my nephew wanting to move down too...but looking for a room to rent OR a flatshare if anyones up for it? We are both getting outta this hell hole for good and ive just missed being so far away from the ocean......! like i say im sorted but doing my best to have a mooch round for my nephew...anyone out there up for sharing a flat atc.....let me know

No regular posters on here advertise that sort of thing.
You need to get in touch with letting agencies down here which are easy enough to find on the internet or try a long stay in a local surf lodge if you can afford it whilst you look.
But as STORMRIDER on here has said before you will need money for a deposit & the first months rent too.

thanx for the advice bro nephew not moving now.....im just packing house here right now...with a snakey b to help me on the way......well it has to be done huh! Im down next week to sort my own flat...crashing out the headland (sweet gift from a mate of mine) so if you see some mad bird haning off the balcony yup thats me.........right back to my boxes
