Urgent Board repair needed in Newquay?

Hi people.

Bought my lad a (newish) board on Saturday, and can't get him off it . Just had a phone call from him from Lusty glaze beach to tell me that one of his mates has just managed to crash into him and take a 1 1/2" chunk out of one of the rails.

He's absolutely gutted, but I've told him that there's a good chance we can get it repaired. Despite this, he's still pretty miffed that he'll be without a board till then.

Has anyone used Ocean Magic for repairs (OP?), anyone know if they turn work round very quickly?

I know it's probably going to have to dry out first, but hopefully there wont be much water in there, as he got the board out of the water as soon as it happened.

Need to get him back in the water asap! He's in danger of tripping over his bottom lip

Any advice/help/suggestions/recommendations people?

(Needs to be in Newquay, as I won't be around for a few days, and at 8'4" it won't fit in the car for Mrs. Slo-mo to drop it off anywhere, so will have to be carried to where it's gonna be repaired.)

Cheers

Woah, not all at once please people, one at a time pleeeeeeeez

No-one got any suggestions then?

No worries if not, I'll be back late on Thursday, and I'll be running the board (and the nipper) around on Friday until I find someone who can give us a quick turnaround on the repair

I've had a few suggestions from elsewhere (including from OP - I'll be trying to talk him into coming back when I see him by the way,) so we've got a few places to try to start off with

Cheers

Tunnel Vision is one of the places that has been suggested to me by someone else who had a board repaired there, and they did a fantastic job

That'll probably be my first port of call then.

I saw the repair job that Hipps did on the nose of his board.Do it yourself ding repairs are really good,as the ding repair products has improved so much.

But Tunnel Vision is always a good bet to go to.
