Fridays Office Conversation ...
So the topic day oh gentle reader was ... selling your car

I remember a radio wind up done with a guy asking how much it is to sell a Volvo 440. The newspaper replied that its £20.00 .

"Ok, how much is it for an obituary then", he asks.

"Thats free", replys the paper....

"Ok, in that case I would like to place an obituary", replys the caller.

"No problem", replys the paper. "If you would just like to state what you require to be said I will note it down ... its traditional to start with the name of the deceased".

( now it helps if you can do this in a scottish accent but a basic understanding of the fact that they pronounce the words Reid, Head and Dead all as Reed, Heed and Deed will suffice ... )

"Ok", the caller replys. "This is what I would like to say".

"Peter Reid, Fae (from) Peterhead ... is Dead ... Volvo 440 for sale"


Now thats how you sell a car

lancaster uni got voted 'top totty' uni 2003, 2004 AND 2005 bring on 2006...now that i'm here we've got even more of a chance
