What you need is a good old land rover like my freelander,i ve found it ideal for the country roads of ......er leeds and wakefield . Anyway,my 7:8 minimal fits in and thats good enough for me. Its only a 1.8 petrol but its still pretty pacy .....REALLY IT IS!!!! but i do admit i sometimes miss the speed of my last car(vectra). By the way Indy,i think your car looks class.I m waiting till i can buy myself an aston martin......it ll look good with a board strapped on

just the spots dude. no 'turbo' badges or anything. they were an option from factory, but obviously some people didn't want them. just that these came off an rs turbo was all
the steering wheel is from a mk2 rs2000 though i spose.... guilty

Thumbs up

Well everyone has there own taste & as I've been modifying for over 15 years now I appreciate a very clean & may I say very tastful looking Orion MOJO.

Not Chav at all which is very difficult on some models of Ford car, especially Escorts & of course the Orion ... which is an Escort with a boot on that particular model

Had two XR2's; both modified & one was actually raced too; in my time & a very special German built "RS'd" Mondeo for a number of years so I can say I use to be a Ford lover as well.

Nice car mate, well done.

As for mine I'm lucky enough to own my dream car but give me about a month once its out the workshop & I'll put it up ...

my dream car is/are the mighty 3DR Sierra cosworth, and the mk1 escort AVO mexico

imo nothing can touch those cars for class/character/nostalgia/ loads of reasons. been that was since i was 11, not going to change . am currently bidding on a few mk2 cortinas as a summer project with my old fella. nice 2.0 pinto should see some smiles. just trying to fing a good one for the right money.
and thanks for the kind words ET. the bloody thing is my absolute pride and joy and has been since i got her, 14months ago. blood sweat and tears and all that

i've got another 1.4 engine, a 1.6, and a turbo (all CVH) which i could fit in a weekend, but the cheapest insurance i've found for the turbo is about 2200. and if i go for the 1.6, i might as well go for the turbo, etc etc so thats why i havent got round to it yet. not much point. my dad has had a few ford beasties in his time so i am true to the blue oval . i remember his saphire cosworth making me feel sick when i was little. it was at about 380bhp when he sold it (pretty high for those days) and various xr's and rs's have graced his ownership. so anyway. cant wait to see your beast. i think i'm gonna guess at something american.... mustang? no..... dodge. charger or a challenger maybe. haha
guess i'll have to wait then

Absolute class, seemed like my dad had every cortina going as i was growing up,he had a mk 1 and i still remember when he came home with a mk2...i was prob about 4-5 but i still loved it and thought it was the best car ever

EDIT apparently he got the mk2 in 1970 so id be 3 but damn it i still knew a good car even at that tender age
