How do i get my picture on here,
Hello
Can anyone help me, i was trying to get a picture on the site but they all seem to be too big. How do you get it to shrink down. Are there any computor wizards who can tell me what to do. Is it as simple as just using a really really crap digital camera. No, that was dum. I am a bit lost and feeling very blond. Some help would be very... helpfull.

Provided its less than 1024 KB in size you can upload it to www.imageshack.com and theres a facility to resize it on upload to a forum friendly size.
Alternatively, you need a photograph editing program to resize it, I would be very surprised if your camera didn't come with some kind of basic editing software.
If you can't find any then try this: http://www.gimp.org/ - its free!

Do you mean an avatar picture or something you want to paste into your text? If you have a programme such as paintshop pro or photoshop you can select the image/edit/resize to 70 pixels x 70. Its a pain isnt it. Do you not have access to a friendly local pooter boffin?
If you have XP you could look at this

Thanks, that would be great, really helpfull.... um.. Could i be totally cheeky and ask you to do 3 pictures for me. it would be a big help as i need to send them out quite a bit for work(no... nothing too rude) You wouldn't post them up on some dodgy web site would you!!!

Good job i havent had any pictures sent to me anyway cos once mrs k had finished with me it would make no diff how cold the sea was.Besides when it comes to technology/owt complicated...i m a real dumb blondie.
