first visit to Newquay

Hello

Im a newbie, just wanted to say "hi"

Im thinking of taking my first trip to Newquay and wonder if you could give some advice as to te best places to go to and at what times to photograph the scenery and waves and get a good feel for the place?

I reckon it all depends on what youre in to. I doubt you could ever really NOT enjoy Newquay though.

Hiya sub

Welcome to the forum, wow the ultimate question when is best time to photograph, well it depends what you are after? Do you want the stunning sunsets that you only get on this side of cornwall with the ocean? Do you want the waves breaking over the rocks? Do you want the beach vibe on a saturday lunchtime?

Love to hear what type of photography you want to produce and any aims for it

Thanks for the reply. I guess Im just really looking forward to taking some stunning Landscape shots and taking some time off from my busy life and escaping for some relaxing walks and photography in a scenic place.
