Slater No Show?
Ok being still fairly new to this whole surfing thing can someone explain about Slater missing round one but I read it as though he is still in the event?

It appears he was chilling out in France.He can come into the comp in a sudden death 2nd round.Pretty laid back to say he can wrap up his 8th world title.Other surfers such as Luke egan have slagged Slater saying it is arrogant and disrespectful.

not much going down at the billabong pro really is there? i watched the live streaming of the fosters expression session before and andy irons was really on it...they were giving it a good go though considering the conditions were poor....
