Easter Weekend!!
I'm astounded none of you have already posted this, maybe cuz your all goin in like july-august? Why then and not now i ask?? north devon for me is a pleanty a crowded, i cant imagine what newquay would be like around that time! 
- surley you'd have numerous bics bosting over your head all day long in the water and on the night more drunken chavs on their single holiday of the year than you can wave a stick at? dnt sound too fun to me! get enough of the ************ heads round here thanks! -
mind you this is what I'm going on from what I've heard, please correct me if I'm wrong! 
ANYHO - who's goin up this easter holiday? (21st March - 6th April)
I'm goin up there, first time  ever from the 21st March till the 27th, not sure where to stay yet though..
Few questions i gotta ask though:
can anyone tell me how crowded it will be there?
are there any clubs with rock orientated music- and i dont mean indie music - that is NOT ROCK! 
what type of people usually visit there this time of the year (easter)

i'm in prague this easter weekend, either there or vienna haven't decided yet 
went to newquay last march and it was great, quiet enough and decent enough surf..dunno about "type" of people though, bit of everything to be honest...quite a few down from london/plymouth kinda places for long weekends, aussies etc starting to come over for summer season, students and chavs..like i said, bit of everything.
as for music, vic bars used to do rock but now they've closed so i dunno anymore.

man screw that, it jus discourages you to duck dive when you havent got a hood from fear of ultimate brain freeze! plus reduces the risk of surfers ear! so they're not all that bad! |

Not heard anything about it but it is near the crazy golf....Only 5 mins walk from most places.

hmm...it can be quite loud and full of 16/17 year olds drinking and partying but that's in summer..

not my kind of place at all! i stayed there for a couple of nights a few years ago and didn't get any sleep but good if you want a party every night!
Crazy golf is good though.
