I was down last year, but there was quite a chav element again which ruins the VW side of things. I went to a cruise held by a local club down there which was based in one of Truro's car parks which wasn't bad.

See the website is now updated :

i took my beast down, but got rained off, and after traveling for 9 hours at 50mph to get there i wasn't impressed!

might go again this year, maybe even in the beast (i use that term loosely ) but again it seems to have been ruined by the chavs.

I'm looking forward to this. I can't even drive but it sounds like a good weekend.
Is this the water pistol thing as well?

Think there was a large crackdown last year on waterpistols, bombs etc.

The previous years 'warm' ammo that smelled after a while didn't help!

yes thats right mate, by about 20 mins infact.

thing is, when it takes you 9 hours to do the trip at 50mph, only to be rained on for 2 days it kinda puts you in a bad mood!

hehe, better luck this year hopefully
