Something I've always wanted to be is a beach lifeguard. Is it hard to become one? I'm aware of all the training involved and what needs to be done, Im just wondering if its differcult getting a job as one? I'm thinking of doing it for the 2009 season.
If you go to your local swimming pool they will normal be able to help you with the training and tests also depends on where you live. There might be a life savers club near you and they are what it is all about.
I know competition is very fierce for positons of beach lifeguard, especially around Newquay & in Cornwall itself.
Up until recently all I seem to remember was the Aussie accent on the fistral loud hailers so shows where the talent use to be !!!!
