Heading Back! May!
Wow, Not done a post on here for awhile!
Not done my rough 5 trips a year to newquay for a while too.. last time was once last year with my missus! and it turned out not the best surf trip!
Anyway Hope everyone is good!!
I now have my own surf board which I bought last time down at Newquay and so I'm rearing to get out and give it some thrashing and wipeouts LOL.
I'm thinking of coming up weekend of May 17th on my own, Just for some plain surfing all day long and then chill out in a cafe for the evening.
As all times I been before i blagged a lift, I'm finally driving myself.. I know alot car parks to park up at but that was when they did not dish fines out for sleeping in your car!
I cant afford camping, Just bearly got money for Petrol.
wanna come up, crash in car, surf all day and thats it really.
Whats a good car park near Fristral to park up and sleep?
I used to use the one by the Church alot, where it lead straight down to beach but last time we got a £60 ticket for sleeping there.
Any advice?
P.S Will that weekend be good for surf, or too early to tell? I could surf down here in Kent at Joss bay... but heck I more likely get more from a fart in a bath tub.

Well we were in Newquay last bank holiday weekend...ended up staying an extra night as are driver couldnt resist that free drink off the rugby lads.
So we slept in are car, errrm the long stay carpark...back of the golf course...Mooch up from fistral and down an alley on the right, perfectt.
No trouble for us, apart from we parked up next to a boat on a trailer, and some drunks tried to sail it off in the early hours...
But its all good.
Im moving down for the summer, all starts for me Run to sun weekend, working in The Central cannot wait

I've always wanted to go down and work for the summer, so I can just surf as much as possible with spare time.
Not muc surf here in kent.
Yea I know what car park your speaking off, Lived there many times even having naked showers with 5ltrs of cold water to get ready for a night out..
Peoples faces when they walked passed all dolled up was classic, seeing a few guys dressed like tramps from living rough and showering with bottled water and suds between the crack of our arse.
Last few times i went though that car park gave tickets for sleeping due to the fact they updated their gay Rule board saying "no over night sleeping".
Unless they allow it now??

Nope there still as sh*t hot as ever on the overnight sleeping as quoted from a 'source' down there.
As for the surf conditions ... mother nature dude, mother nature.
It use to be a case that nicer weather brought less surf but in the last few years we've been surprised many times with what goes on out there in mother ocean & the worlds changing weather ...
Nothing is guaranteed.

I'm pretty sure that car park has camera's on the entrance and exit, so I wouldn't try and park up there overnight or you'll definetly get fined!
I've been down here nearly 3 weeks now and I'm loving it!
