Coming to Newquay..

Hi, me and some friends are coming up to Newquay next week (27th May) and would like to know what sort of nightlife there is down there?

Is there anywhere we can go at night, being under 18?

I seriously doubt it unless one of the clubs is running an under 18's night.

There are loads of threads on this forum in regards to how strict pubs/clubs/bars are on ID checks etc. as licences are fought & treasured for in Newquay.

Maybe a quieter pub outside of town if your lucky but obviously lack of atmosphere if your looking for the clubbing scene.

Berties ran an under 18's club night last summer, but no sign of it this year. You'll be extremely lucky if you get in any clubs or pubs. I got asked for id buying alcohol from my local shop and I'm 28 so that should give you some idea about the strictness of alcohol selling here.
