Im coming to newquay looking to find a summer job and somewhere to stay, i dont have a clue where to begin and have searched through all the threads and cant find anyone else in this position, even thou i know theres prob thousands out there! please please please help

I guess come down and stay in a surf lodge and scan the window in Choc Box, the newsagents on the corner kind of opposite Subway everyday. I've heard a whisper that new things get put up every day at 4pm but that my not be true.
I was lucky and got a house share before I came down.
As for jobs it depends what you want to do. Walk the length of the town from Lusty Glaze at the top end to Fistral at the bottom everyday and look out for signs with job vacancies, although I guess a lot of places may have already recruited the bulk of the staff they need for the summer.
You could also try the job agencies such as Aztec in Newquay or there are some in St Austell and especially Truro where you may be able to get temp work. I've just got a job through an agency working during the day Monday to Friday but it all depends what you want to do really.
Coming down here has been the best decision I've ever made and I may well end up staying for longer than summer!

Search harder

Personally your starting to hit late in the season Sarah as whats left will be in the windows of shops, bars etc. Get in touch with the Newquay job centre would be a good start or GOOGLE for local job agencies.
Same with accomodation - GOOGLE for local estate or letting agents & go from there.
Failing that have a long weekend looking in windows & newsagents & see what turns up.
