Anyone spending the summer in the quay then? im stuck in the office again this year but always interesting to see what others have planned.

Doing first 2 weeks in August in and around the Quay in the bus, not lucky enough to do whole Summer.
Maybe one year.

Im not down this summer as all my cash will be going on my jaunt to the US but im gonna try to get down maybe NOV/DEC ,try a bit of winter surfing Newquay style....make a change from the icebergs on the east coast

where you off to in the US? were thinking of going down in november as well for our winter hols, prob 14th - 17th. hoping to stay in the fistral cottages. will be nice to see the place without all the crowds again.

Im in Florida in August 62micro so prob wont get to do much surfing....still if florida was good enough for kelly slater
November in the quay....PARTY

first part sounds really good,the part bout AW and the beer............ totally unrealistic im afraid,he s the only man i know who tries to reverse charge text msgs
By the way if youre thinking bout staying in the headland cottages,ive stayed in one and although pricey they were outstandingly nice

I was also thinking about booking one of the Headland cottages.But for the one bed cottage for a week,it would cost £750.

tis expensive stormy,think i paid £600 for a week which was a stinger.However,i came down with my wife on that trip and she doesnt surf so was a bit of a peace offering as i was in the sea most of the time,couldnt really leave her alone all the time in a tent haha.They are really nice,think they do a virtual tour.Best part was laying in bed looking at fistral all of 100m away before going in for a full days surfing
