Talking Profiles Please

I often check the profiles of the members who are on line, but am very sad to see that the profiles are empty.

You lot got something to hide?

It should be compulsory to fill them in when registering, so we can view all the gory details, so come on folks get em filled in!!

Talking Keep up the good work

Cheers folks,

Thanks to all the regulars who have added info to their profiles. It's always nice to know a bit about who your chattin' to.

Know what you mean Stormy, bout people not bothering to return. Another gripe for me it when they log on, but keep their name hidden. Whats the reason for that do you think? If its done accidentally and you dont know what to do, just go to your Edit Profile and click no, where it asks if you want your username hidden. Then we can see if you are online at the same time.

I love this site. I found another which is quite similar to this one, but its full of idiots. Loads of swearing and stupid talk. Very little to do with surfing. So I dont go there now.

I'm a one site woman, and extremely faithful.

Its a beautiful day, so I'm off to catch some rays in the garden, with a good old cornish saga, before I go to work this p.m.

See ya soon

I find it a bit strange that people log on and keep their names hidden.Because you can read all the threads and posts without having to log on.And if they do hide their names after logging on,and if they reply to a post you know then that they are online.

As you may have noticed,i too love this site, and i am extremely faithful.

My kind of a woman...

" I found another which is quite similar to this one, but its full of idiots. Loads of swearing and stupid talk. Very little to do with surfing."
I know that there are lots of children that visit this site (me included - you have all seen my photo), therefore I do not tolerate swearing, hard arguments etc. I do not intend to be a little brother, and rarely read all the posts, but surfing is to be enjoyed by all, and this forum should reflect the spirit of surfing.

If you ever see any offensive material, you can always use 'Report this post to the moderator' link under every post. I had only one complaint so far, so my respect goes to everyone who is using this forum. Guy called 'Tall Thin Bloke' had some legendary posts and I always enjoyed reading them. But lots of people used to complain.

I received recently an email from somebody who is surfing at the Crantock beach, requesting that I take Crantock Beach page off this site. What a cheek!!! He continued by saying that I earn lots of money through this site, and therefore should not popularize his local beach. Hey, I earn no money here, but put lots of work, time and my own money into this. Adverts that you see pay for the one fifth of the cost for server alone. Rest, 4/5th's, is dished out by me.
Second, my policy is not to reveal any secret spots on these pages. And I know a few. But a main beach like the Crantock should be enjoyed by all, as long as you pay respect to the others.
Needless to say I ignored the email.
