Hi Ilona,

has this board got sentimental value for you or was it purchased as a cheaper alternative to buying a new board or was it a hand me down?

Almost all boards, even those with herendous looking damage can be restored or repaired, but this may work out more expensive than to buy a new board and more labour intensive than making a board from scratch.
Are there any soft spots, areas of brown foam or areas where the glass has lifted off the foam? If there are this would indicated that the board has at some point inits life taken on water, glass and or faom will need to be replased.
if there are cracks in the glass you may find that the foam will suck in water taking it deep into the board. any repairs that are not first opened out and flushed out with fresh clean water will cause salt crystals to be trapped and this is what caused the brown staining on old boards, any work done over thess area swill also delam very quickly, sometimes with in hours.
It would help if you could post some pictures of the damage with a rule next to them to give an indication of the scale.
