Camping near Newquay

Does anyone know what the nearest campsite is to Newquay town centre. 3 of us coming down on 10th August but havent anywhere to stay yet. We figure all the cheap hostels will long be booked up so looking for a decent campsite.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Sunnyside, 2.5 miles away from the beaches if you are surfing. £7 50 to camp a night, plus £2 50 if you are keeping a car. Thats for each person.

Thats where im staying.

Stay at Rosecliston I cant recomend it enough! its slightly further out than Sunnyside but its not full of chavs and binge drinkers. If your coming for the surf and a nice chilled atmosphere Rosecliston is the place

Taxis into town are only £2 each so you cant grumble at that and they run all hours I think last one is about 3am back

The closest is Trenance Holiday Park but they don't allow single sex groups on during the summer. Rosecliston is your best bet mate, not too far and a nice site.
